CROWN HEIGHTS TOWNHOUSE LOWER TRIPLEX     |     BROOKLYN, NY

Completed in 2023, the lower triplex of this three-story, two-family Landmarked townhouse was fully renovated and reconfigured from the ground up. Collaboration with the client was integral from the onset of design in finding a balance between both restoring and adding to the history of the house. The cellar was refinished as a recreation space, aided by replacing the existing slab. The house received new windows, plumbing, HVAC, electrical distribution, and solar energy systems. Access to the rear yard was increased by  providing new enlarged openings to a large steel-framed deck, stair and garden.
