Completed in 2022, this detached two and a half story, two-family property was stripped to the studs, replanned, and converted to a new single-family occupancy for a family of five. The clients, inspired to delete the previous cold and winding interior, sought a bright, open, and organized environment. The cellar was established and finished as a recreation space, aided by replacing the existing slab. The house received new windows, siding, plumbing, HVAC, electrical distribution, and solar energy systems. Access to the rear yard was increased by simplifying the footprint at the back of the house and providing new enlarged openings to a framed deck and hardscape.
